A disscussion on the evaluation of uncertainty in measurement of solution volume in chemical analysis

Abstract：This paper attempts to discuss the rationality of the identification and treatment methods of uncertainty components in the measurement of solution volume in some published papers. It is concluded that: the evaluation precision of the uncertainty caused by indication error of metering device could be improved through replacing the tolerance with real difference; the volume difference of working standard solution (the difference of solution volume diluted under non-standard conditions and standard conditions) in solution preparation should be ignored; the temperature difference of solution in preparation and application should be calculated based on the actual process; the volume change of pipettor should not be ignored in using a pipettor.
