Abstract:The sample was digested with HCl. Mn 279.5 nm, Cu 324.8 nm, Zn 213.9 nm and K 766.5 nm were used as analytical lines. The content of manganese, copper, zinc and potassium in low-carbon steel was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The mass concentration of four elements showed good linearity with absorbance in certain range. The detection limits were 0.009 5, 0.013 8, 0.002 9 and 0.003 3 mg/L, respectively. The low-carbon steel sample was determined by the proposed method. The relative standard deviations (RSD, n=7) were less than 1 %. The recoveries of standard addition were 95 %-104 %.
