Determination of sixty semi-volatile organic compounds in drinking water sources by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

Abstract:Extracted with dichloromethane under three conditions including alkaline, neutral and acidic, sixty semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in the drinking water sources were determiend by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results showed that the recoveries of sixty SVOCs were 88 %-96 %, and the relative standard deviations (RSD) were 1.1 %-4.8 %, which proved good accuracy and precision. The target SVOCs had good linearity in the concentraiton range of 0.05-1.00 μg/mL with linear correlation coefficient of R2>0.99.
