Abstract:A method for simultaneous determination of Mg, Sn, La, Ce, Sb and Pb in cast iron by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was established, and the instrument working conditions were optimized. Under the optimized operation conditions, the spectral interference could be eliminated by selecting appropriate analytical isotopes, and meanwhile, the matrix effect and signal shift could be corrected effectively by using mixed internal standard elements of Sc, In and Bi. The detection limit of Mg, Sn, La ,Ce, Pb and Sb were 1.1, 0.3, 0.03, 0.04, 0.08, and 0.4 ng/mL, respectively. The method has been applied to the determination of certified reference materials and actual samples. The results indicated that its accuracy and precision could meet the demand for analysis.
