Determination of aluminum, cobalt, copper, gallium, zirconium, terbium, titanium, niobium in neodymium iron boron by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
Abstract:Micro elements in neodymium iron boron were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Through experiments, the mass number for determination was established, and the addition amount of hydrofluoric acid was selected when determining Nb and Zr. The acidity for determination and matrix effect were investigated. The correction of instrumental signal shift and matrix effect was studied using Rh, In, Cs and Tl as internal standard. According to the experimental results, Cs was selected as internal standard for correction. The limit of determination for all elements were 0.095-0.56 ng/mL, and the recoveries were 96%-108%(n=20). Compared with the inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES), the results were in good agreement. The relative standard deviations (RSD) of actual sample were 2.7 %-7.3 %.
