Abstract: By determining the content of zinc in lead-zinc ore, the uncertainty sources of the measured results were analyzed, and the uncertainty components were evaluated. The results showed that the main uncertainties in this determination were introduced by the concentration calibration of EDTA standard solution and repeatability of measurements. Therefore, in practical analysis process, corresponding measures could be performed according to the actual situation, including standardizing operation and improving the technological capability of analysts, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measured results. When the content of zinc in testing sample was 17.11 %, the expanded uncertainty was 0.10 % (coverage factor k=2).
