Abstract:The revision points of GB/T 4336-2016 (Carbon and low-alloy steel-Determination of multi-element contents-Spark discharge atomic emission spectrometric method(routine method)) and GB/T 14203-2016 (General rules for spark discharge atomic emission spectrometry) mainly included:the grinding particle size of 0.25-0.124 mm was specified; the terms of “standardization sample” and “control sample” were adopted; the acceptance check of testing results was added,i.e.,the range of 2,3 and 4 independent measurement results was not higher than r (repeatability limit of method),1.2 r and 1.3 r,respectively; the trueness check method was added,i.e.,the difference between average and reference of two measurement results |x--μ0| was not higher than the critical difference CD0.95 value.When the uncertainty of certified reference material could not be ignored,|x--μ0| was not higher than the critical difference of C.The precision data were provided in Appendix B,including repeatability limit of r,reproducibility limit of R,limit of standard deviation of s in ten measurements and critical difference CD0.95 of average in two measurements.The acceptance index “standard deviation in ten measurements” provided by spectrometer manufacturer should accord with s≤0.52r; the range of ten measurement results was not higher than 1.6r.11 instruments were randomly selected and each instrument used the same sample.10 measurements were conducted within short time to calculate the average,standard deviation,range,repeatability limit of r,1.6r and 0.52r.It was found that the conclusion of measurement results was consistent either using “the range of ten measurement results was not higher than 1.6r” or using “the standard deviation in ten measurements was not higher than 0.52r”.The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards and Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) were compared.The analytical range of low content in revision lists of GB/T 4336-2016 was provided.Moreover,the social organization standard of Chinese Standard for Testing and Materials (CSTM) for determination of low content carbon steel by spark discharge atomic emission spectrometry were also introduced.
