Abstract:The ABC management for the quality control in on-line analysis was described in detail, including the concept, purpose, and implementation process. The main purpose of A management is to manage the short-term precision (i.e., short-term drift) for analysis instrument. In this process, some selected certified reference material were used for checking the analysis instrument while the changes in the mean x and the range R of two measurement results were monitored. By this way, an effective precision control for the analysis instruments were achieved and the A management is also known as the drift correction management or the standardized management for the instruments. By controlling the deviation between the results gotten from different analysis instruments of the same kind in one laboratory, the consistent analysis results could be gotten. In the production process, when a batch of products was analyzed, the deviation caused by switching the analysis instrument to another could be eliminated. The work that compares and corrects the results gotten from two analysis instrument is called B management. And the work that compares the results gotten by the instrumental analysis with the result gotten by chemical analysis or other high-level analysis and makes them consistent is called C management. The ABC management could provide good management and guidance for the quality control during on-line analysis.
