Abstract:The mixture of K2S2O7, NaF, Al2O3 and carbon powder was used as solid buffer agent. Ge was selected as internal standard. The sample and buffer agent were mixed in mass ratio of 1:1 and then loaded into graphite electrode. The superposed spectra (intercepting exposure) were taken for twice with vertical electrode pairs on one-meter plane grating spectrograph. The corresponding analytical line pair was selected based on the content of sample. The blackness of spectral line was measured on photometer. Then, the content of silver in sample was calculated by internal standard method. The determination method of silver in strontium ore by alternating current arc atomic emission spectrometry was established. Under the certain analytical conditions, the logarithm of silver mass fraction was linear to the blackness difference between analytical line and internal standard line. The correlation coefficient was r=0.999 4. The detection limit of silver in this method was 0.02 μg/g. The proposed method was applied to the determination of silver in strontium ore sample. The relative standard deviation (RSD, n=12) was 4.8%. The recoveries were between 89% and 105%.
