Abstract:A poly L-aspartic acid/multi-walled carbon nanotubes composite film modified glassy carbon electrode was fabricated by dispensing and electropolymerization method.The electrochemical behavior of nitrite ( NO-2) on the modified electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, and a new electrochemical detection of NO-2 was established.The experimental result showed that the modified electrode exhibited good electro-catalytic properties for NO-2 oxidation and significantly enhanced the electrochemical process of NO-2 on the surface of the electrode. In the determination of NO-2 with differential pulse voltammetry, there was a good linear relationship between the oxidation peak current and the concentration of NO-2 in the range of 2.0×10-6-2.0×10-4 mol/L with the correlation coefficient of 0.998 9. The limit of detection was 2.0 × 10-7 mol/L(S/N=3).The method has been successfully applied to the determination of NO-2 in water sample.
