Abstract:The research progress on molecular spectrometric determination of aluminum(Ⅲ) in recent years (2004-2013) was reviewed, including catalytic kinetic spectrophotometry, general spectrophotometry,spectrofluorimetry, double wavelength spectrophotometry and related coupling technique. The reaction medium, linear range, detection limit and actual application object of different analytical methods were summarized. The research direction and prospect for the molecular spectrometric determination of aluminum(Ⅲ) was forecast: new developer and environmental fluorescence reagent should be developed to enhance specific selectivity and shorten analysis time; artificial intelligence system such as computer should be introduced to optimize signal process, method correction and experiment design, etc; highly efficiency separation and enrichment technology should be coupled to reduce interference and realize the accurate determination of aluminum(Ⅲ).
