Abstract:The impurity elements including Pb, Zn, Cd, Hg, As, Mn, Ag, Cu, Fe in lead ore, zinc ore and lead-zinc ore were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) with the samples dissolved by HCl-HNO3. According to the analytical line selection principle and the detection limit of elements, the spectral lines without or with little interference , with symmetrical peak shape and high sensitivity were selected as the analytical lines. Through test, it turned out that there was no coexisting element interference. The calibration curve had good linearity with correlation coefficient (r) of 0.999 5-1.000 0. This method was applied to determine reference materials of lead concentrate, zinc concentrate and lead-zinc concentrate and verified with MEF method. No constant system error and relative system error were found, indicating the found value had no significant difference from the reference value. With the advantages of less reagent consumption, fast analytical speed and wide linear range, the method was applicable to the simultaneous determination of cadmium, mercury, arsenic, manganese, silver, copper, iron, lead and zinc in lead ore, zinc ore and lead-zinc ore.
