Abstract:Gas analyzer was used for the method study of determining helium and application study of argon by pulse heating-time of flight mass spectrometry. The linearity of calibration curves was good if standard gas was used. The pulse-thermal conductivity method was used as reference. The experimental results were comparison results of the two methods. The determination method of helium and argon was established. The helium in helium-filled titanium film for scientific research was analyzed, and the argon in titanium alloy for powder metallurgy was determined. The test results indicated that, pulse heating-time of flight mass spectrometry could be used for accurate determination of helium and argon in metal. The quantitative analysis results were consistent with those obtained by existing pulse-thermal conductivity method.
