Abstract:The determination method of metal elements such as Ir, Au, Pd, Rh and Ru in titanium alloy by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) was introduced. The selection of sample dissolution method, the optimization of instrumental working parameters, the influence of matrix and coexisting elements on determination were tested. In this study, the samples were dissolved in hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. The effect of matrix titanium was eliminated by matrix matching method. Under the optimal instrumental conditions, Ir 224.268 nm, Au 267.595 nm, Pd 340.458 nm, Rh 343.489 nm and Ru 240.272 nm were selected as the analytical lines. The detection limit of method was 0.000 1-0.003 μg/mL. The recovery test and precision test showed that, the proposed method could meet the analytical requirements of Ir, Au, Pd, Rh and Ru in titanium alloy. The recoveries were 90 %-110 %, and the relative standard deviation (RSD, n=6) was smaller than 14 %.
