Abstract:The content of ion in the coating of alloying galvanized sheet was determined by glow discharge spectrometry. Based on the glow discharge integration spectrum of sample from surface to inner, the mass of zinc, aluminum and alloying iron in the coating was calculated by integration. Consequently, the percentage of actual iron in the coating could be obtained. Meanwhile, the alloying galvanized sheet was fully dissolved by the treatment method of galvanized surface in GB/T1839. Then, the content of iron in coating was determined by ICPAES. Two samples were determined for six times using glow discharge spectrometry and ICPAES, respectively. The results showed that, the relative standard deviations (RSD) were 1.6 %, 1.9 % and 1.6 %,0.31 %. The deviations between glow discharge spectrometry and ICPAES were 0.32 % and 0.48 %. By the comparison with this method, the integration parameters in the analysis of atypical alloying galvanized sheet by glow discharge spectrometry could be optimized. The continuity and accuracy of online production inspection could be guaranteed.
