Abstract:After sample filter paper were prepared with sample solution pipetted by a adjustable pipette gun, the content of rhodium in rhodium plating solution was directly determined by wavelength dispersion X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The results showed that the linear correlation coefficient of calibration curve plotted by solution filter paper method was 0.999 1, which was consistent with that of traditional method, and the diffusion of various volumes of solution on filter paper did not influence the determination results. This method used small amount of sample, which eliminated matrix effect. Meanwhile, the calibration curve could be used in a long term. The detection limit of method was 11.52 μg. The proposed method was applied to the determinaiton of actual rhodium plating solution samples, and the results were consistent with those obtained by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) with the relative standard deviation smaller than 2.1 %.
