Development and application of multifunctional spectrometer fixture in spark discharge atomic emission spectrometry

Abstract:In order to solve the unity problem of existing spectrometer fixtures, a kind of multifunctional spectrometer fixture was developed and studied for the spark discharge atomic emission spectrometric analysis. The multifunctional was modified according to the principle of conventional vertical and horizontal fixtures. Through reasonable design for disassembly, the analysis and determination of bar-shaped, line-shaped, tube-shaped, sheet-shaped and spherical samples could be realized. Based on the principle of horizontal spectral fixture, it could be applied for the analysis of bar-shaped, line-shaped, tube-shaped or sheet-shaped samples with outer diameter or width in range of 1.0-10 mm. Moreover, according to the principle of vertical spectral fixture, the developed multifunctional fixture could convert the spherical samples to bar samples with the aid of stainless steel tube, spring and bolt. Through the positioning of batter board and V-type board, it could be used for the determination of spherical steel samples with outer diameter of 2.5-10 mm.
