Abstract:The application of four typical methods in spark source atomic emission spectrometry (pulse discrimination analysis method, peak integration method, single spark evaluation and original position statistical distribution analysis method) in state analysis of inclusions in steels were reviewed in this paper. The main principle, characteristic and analytical progress of these methods were introduced. Moreover, the advantages and disadvantages as well as the applicable range of the methods were compared. The advantages of spark source atomic emission spectrometry in the analysis of inclusions were pointed out. In addition, the developing direction of this method in the analysis of inclusions were proposed.
