Abstract:On the basis of teaching and research practices, the understanding of several issues about inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) was discussed as follows: (1) the personal opinion on the appellation of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry; (2) the understanding of interference effect in inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry; (3) how to judge the existence of interference effect; (4) the understanding of detection limit, determination limit and linear range. The purpose of this paper was to clarity some questions of ICP-OES in application research and paper writing.
