Abstract:Calcium -silicon alloy is a steel deoxidation agent,if there is calcium oxide impurities which affect the steel deoxidation effect. Heating calcium alloy sample of calcium oxide and ethylene glycol - ethanol extract glycol react to generate ethylene glycol calcium (weakly alkaline), and then to the phenolphthaleinas indicator, titration with benzoic acid standard solution. Study the best conditions of calcium oxide glycol extract calcium alloy, the results show that (ethylene glycol) - ethanol (1+3) as extractant, the extraction of samples in the temperature of boiling water bath, the best,the determination of calcium oxide results and stability. The samples were spiked recovery test, the measured recovery rate between 95.4%—101.9%. The method for the analysis of samples of calcium alloy, calcium oxide measured results and the relative standard deviation less than 0.11%.
