Abstract：Failure of metal materials always leads to disaster accidents and major economic loss. Failure analysis of the accidents is a complicated process which has high requirement on the workers. In this paper, a case database was established mainly based on the failure analysis process and cause analysis, which can be accessed, searched and downloaded via the internet. This database will be useful for the failure analysis and disposal of new accidents.
