On line monitoring of the sintering degree by Supermagnag sensor

Abstract:The Supermagnag sensor for online monitoring of magnetic properties of sinter was introduced. By measuring magnetic permeability, the Supermagnag sensor could continuously monitor the sintering degree of sinter cake. Compared to the Permagnag sensor, its response time was significantly reduced (68 min for SIFA2). This sensor could be used not only for reactive process control, but also as an alarm signal to detect abnormal loading conditions, ignition failure or maintenance needs.
