Abstract:The evolution law of deformation textures of dual phase steels in cold deformation process and the effect of alloying elements on the deformation textures were studied. The results showed that, although a little pearlite existed, the cold deformation textures of dual phase steel was close to body centered cubic metals. The addition of Si (non carbide forming element) had no obvious influence on the deformation textures. The carbide forming elements such as Cr and Nb enhanced the orientation density of deformation textures in {112}<110> orientation position of in α orientation line. The evolution law of steel textures in dual phase annealing process was tested and analyzed. The results indicated that, the orientation of crystal grains in annealing process would chang along with α line to orientation position of γ line. The hindering effect of Si or Cr on orientation change of crystal grains was not obvious. The microalloy element Nb obviously hindered the orientation change of crystal grains, so the annealing textures still remained very high textures component in α orientation line. The experimental results above were theoretically analyzed.
