Abstract:Based on top-down technology, an evaluation method of measurement uncertainty of laboratory quality control data was proposed by standard deviation which was defined using grey system theory (abbreviated as quality control–grey evaluation method,QC-Grey evaluation method). The feasibility and accuracy of method was verified using 45 groups (35 testing items) of quality control data in metallurgical analysis, environmental monitoring (water quality detection), biological detection and physical measurement. The ratio of evaluation results between proposed method and quality control charting(the current standard method) and robust statistics-iteration method (algorithm 1 and algorithm 2) was SGrey/SMR=1.00±0.13, SGrey/Srs1= 0.96±0.05 and SGrey/Srs2=1.00±0.08, respectively. The consistency among methods was good. The QC-Grey evaluation method had little dependence to the distribution type of quality control data. The complicated normality test was not required. Therefore, the evaluation process was more simple and practical.
