Abstract:The practical application of mathematical statistics method in the development process of certified reference materials was explained through the statistical analysis of homogeneity examination, definite value calculation and error in development of certified reference material of vanadium nitrogen alloy. The study provided a sample for reference for the development of metallurgical standard samples. According to the requirements in the development of certified reference materials in GB/T 15 000 Directions for the work of reference material and YB/T 082 Specification for CRMs for metallurgical product analysis and on the basis of practice, the homogeneity of standard sample was judged by variance analysis method. The normality of definite values was investigated by Shapiro-Wilk method. The dubious value and outlier of definite values were checked and screened by Cochrane, Grubbs and Dixion test method. The stability of standard sample was evaluated by the t test. Therefore, the homogeneity and stability of certified reference material of vanadium-nitrogen alloy could be guaranteed. The definite values were accurate. The developed certified reference materials of vanadium nitrogen alloy were eligible.
