Abstract:In the mechanical property test of metal materials,the impact and tensile tests (hereinafter referred to as "impact tension test") are the key indexes to inspect the mechanical properties of materials.Meanwhile,the indexes of data properties in impact tension test are closely related to the chemical composition of the material itself.The dual phase steel 2209 was selected as an example.The specimen ends for impact tension test were prepared by inlaying method and then analyzed by spark discharge atomic emission spectrometry.It was to solve the rapid and efficient inspection of chemical composition in samples for impact tension test in the production and research process.The results showed that the analysis effect could not be achieved for ø5 mm sample after inlaying.For the ø10 mm,ø15 mm and ø20 mm samples after inlaying, the precision and accuracy of Si,Mn,S,P,Cr,Ni,Mo and Cu were all improved except for C.The sample preparation by inlaying method could shorten the analyzing cycle and improve the inspection efficiency.Consequently,the cost could be reduced and the efficiency could be increased.
